Anyone got the Euro long range outlook?

A little rain Thursday. The good rains remain south of DC and into VA/NC/SC from Thursday through Saturday.

The long range looks warm with a big heat surge towards the end.

Overall, status quo. Slightly above average temps with shots of well above average. Similar to the pattern we are in now.

The 8-10 day and beyond heat seems to have legs, though the other night the ensembles werent as enthused.....

I've looked for good worldwide base maps, but haven't found one that is satisfactory.

that's ok...Just teasing...It is interesting to see wind direction...The dark blue running ne in Brooklyn is over my old house...It's also giving giving planes headed to LGA a nice tail wind...Those planes used to fly directly over my old house...

I'm surprised new brunswick got to 99. I have 3 different thermometers, and the highest got to 96.8. I'm a stones throw across the river in piscataway.

Yeah I think the Newark oven has now extended down to Middlesex County. I hit 95.7F about 15 miles SE of New Brunswick.

Reached 97 degrees here in C NJ. With the clouds moving in that are associated with the strong to possibly severe thunderstorm activity tomorrow, I would not be surprised if forecasts bust slightly on the high side tomorrow. The exact timing of when the cloud cover moves in associated with the convection will determine how warm we will get tomorrow.

Models, even the hi-res models are poor in terms of where and when storms pop up, so they are not particularly useful.

Yeah but lows probably wont go much below 80 so it might already be approaching 90 by 9am...either way going to feel much worse than today
