It's certainly going to feel a lot different by the end of the week into the weekend, probably low 80s and mid 60s for most, even some upper 70s upper 50s/low 60s for some.

Can't wait. Will be at long beach Sunday. Looks perfect.

So far at Newark there have been 17 - 90 degree days this spring/summer - the same as the total through July 17 2011 ......... also this summer is well on its way to becoming the 3rd above average temp summer season in a row.......

18 with today and 2 at 89 (and change)

EWR: 94 but those clouds are here

That's why I don't get why 90 is the threshold for a heat wave. Its nothing to hit 90 in July. It should be 3 days of 95+

^Recent dryness really equalizing NYC and EWR temps I see. A "mere" 8 degree spread between the two sites. I honestly don't remember that big a gradient. 98 and 90? Wow.

93F here right now.

NYC received rain recently. Clearly affecting their accuracy.
