I am sure we will get some rain alter...i already had a quick downpour...but this has been a bust this weekend...originally (mid-week forecast) was for rain firday night on, then saturday afternoon, then saturday night, then...sunday afternoon.

Really surprised there was no rain rain until 8:30 this morning, my point and click was saying rain after 10pm last night...sorry boys, this has been a bust.

My idea of a bust is looking back at the mid-week forecast for the weekend and when the weather is completely different, that is a bust.

Ummm, it rained here friday night.

dew is now 77 on my vantage vue

75 here, jesus that was the first i looked today. Awful.

Yeah my dew peaked at 76F on my DVP2 earlier today. Been hovering around 74-75. It might be 1 or 2 degrees too high, but still extremely humid.

The accuracy of personal weather equipment. The dps are getting higher, but nowhere near the above levels(at least not yet, though closer on LI where the ocean is doing its dirty work).

guess your chances were just fine, and this is just round one.

You are twisting my post...I said nothing for last night (which no one really saw anything outside of a renegade storm that dived into NYC and I said upton chopped today's chances down. (which is verifying nicely as many areas seeing zip.) I said nothing about tonight's chances.

aww, and you never do this?

fact is, plenty of chances for heavy rain for everyone today.

Its pitch black here right now, you should be getting hammered like we are.

The current dew point at McGuire AFB to my southwest is 74, and my weather station is recording a 74 dew point right now, so that seems on track. I agree the personal stations run a bit high, but I wouldn't say they're nowhere near those values. Some official stations are reporting mid 70s tds.

Edit: Islip has a 74 dew right now and JFK at 75
