Nice taste of fall for at least 48 hours late next week. 850's almost get down to +10c in NYC. Lower humidity with maybe 2-3 solid negative departure days potentially.

Remains to be seen what happens thereafter, but the GFS likes the idea of more troughs parading into the NE through the end of July. As I've posted before, I think the first week of July was the hottest period we'd see for the rest of the month. Tomorrow might bust low again due to clouds, then we'll have a 3 day heat wave Mon-Wed, but nothing prolonged like early month. Then cool down for late week. A lot more back and forth going on temperature wise.

Some bigger breaks earlier between 1030 and 1230 but since then, stingy clouds have held tough. Looks like we may get some late afternoon breaks the next few hours. Maybe some late highs...

Upto 86 here

12z ECM looks hot 7/15 - 7/19, peaking tue/wed. Then back to normal next fri/sat (cooler friday) before another blast of heat by the 22nd into that week. Tomorrow will be a case if there is enough sun then its widespread 90s before storms or more mid upper 80s like today. Mon - wed a seem to be a lock for 90+, tue perhaps near 100 for some. Thu a toss up.

Euro is cooler and has 850s at 8C for NYC at 144 hours. The cool shot late next week is gaining traction.

Yeah should be some beautiful weather, September like, especially further north.

High was only 82 here today. Hoping for some big rains tonight.

The cooler temps coming thu - sat may be similar to 6/25 - 6/26 cool down. Appears Friday will be the coolest day suspect we're looking at around 80 with cooler night time lows, maybe a -5 or more for 2 days fri-sat. Looking warm quickly after by next sun into the week of 7/23.

Lawns may get a drink overnight. Hoping we can salvage most of the day tomorrow, at least it was dry today but too cloudy.

Looks like FOK hit 90 today.

Clouds got in the way of 90s from DC to NYC but north into New England widespread 90s today. Tomorrow maybe more of the same - hopefully we can get some longer stretches of sun - get any rain and storms out early. Im not so confident.

Looks like FOK hit 90 today.

FOK actually hit 91 F...as did Shirley...an airport 10 miles or so to the west. NWS Upton managed a high of 87 F

Yeah I think we'll warm quickly after the cool shot, but we may see more troughs try to swing thru the NE late month. The second half of the month should be cooler than the first half IMO.
