It Really Was a Heat Wave II (unless it wasn't, in which case it was weak sauce)- - Obs and Disco Late June/Early July 2012

Mild down is that the new global warming term used for coming off big time +15 dep stuff? :) Above average but its really cool?

I thought it was you that first used that term... or maybe it was Blizz. Probably the salesman. One of the torch twins used that phrase last week before the cool shot to describe the cooler temps before this recent quasi-heat wave.

Something like, "After record heat, we mild down for a few days before another blast of deadly furnace comes in." Apparently it is a way to say "cool off" without actually admitting or using a word that may acknowledge dropping temperatures.

Mild down is a silly term CtBlizz cooked up. He won't say cool down because that admits defeat and his busted torch calls. He probably went to a sales seminar where they taught him never to use a word that carries a negative connotation when trying to close a deal.

Ahh so it was him... I knew it was one of the torch twins.

Oh ok, thanks Scott learn something new from you guys every day almost

That's why you'll hear us talk about west winds or even NW winds at Logan in the summer. It's not just because of downslope.

It's funny because it's the opposite with east winds. They are the coldest area probably in the whole city when that happens. I run usually cooler and warmer than Logan, respectively...but my area also does not radiate well.

WOW just WOW

Another Ginx chamber of commerce day, temps were mid to upper 80s inland and just returned home to a wonderful seabreeze!

83

wall to wall sunshine

Very healthy south wind blowing

This incredible string of summer weather continues, just perfect! Time to hydrate then libate, and unleash an incredible onslaught of pyrotechnics later this evening after the official show.

Viva La Summer
