It Really Was a Heat Wave II (unless it wasn't, in which case it was weak sauce)- - Obs and Disco Late June/Early July 2012

For whom?

This was an interior Metro West, lower elevation heat scenario, and that includes FIT-HFD over to Framingham and Natick, where a substantive population resides. Keep that in mind.

You answered your own question but maybe it was a low grade heat wave for 15% of New England's land mass, still not a very widespread one.

And regarding the "imby" stuff, you chastise folks for thinking that way but they you go on and argue it is a heat wave because of your neighborhood temperatures near FIT.

It seems what's really going on here is some degeneration awareness that is allowing "imby"ism to take things over again.

I was around a lot of people that hated the last 3 days because it was annoyingly hot, over 90 where they were. Me being one of them :)

Don't let "imby-ism" take over Tip, and realize that a large portion of New England did not see a heatwave. Sorry that your backyard did though.

Perfect here today as well. When it's hot, like 6 of the last 10 were, I say it is. I don't spin it like you and your minions.

Dude, more population density was affect than not - just because the majority of the board happens to not be located there, doesn't diminish fact.

keep dreaming - there's so much logically flawed about his and Ginx's replies I don't know where to begin.

They're still coming from an "impression" of things that is highly motivated from their IMBY over the last several days, and I am not

I looked at the data and where the heat was.

Yes I get that...I still think in general terms it was a very low amount of real estate that actually saw a heat wave...like 500ft or less elevation, away from the coast, in certain heat prone river valleys.

I get the population argument but this still didn't even get to the torch prone southern NH spots like MHT. You are talking a small slice of SNE-only that saw a heat wave, and I'm just not impressed with 90F at BDL given what they are capable of this time of year.

well of course. but outside of kevin, who pretends he lives in places he doesn't, not too many of us discuss what's happening in towns that the majority of us don't' live in.

you'll notice there's not much conversation on here about MVY or ACK or BID or Cape Ann or Ayer, MA just to name a few...because we don't have posters there (outside of Blair on ACK who doesn't post much at all).

Ok John...We'll all consider your backyard before we post.

Just next time before you blast us for IMBY-ism, consider if your next post will be about your backyard.

No - I post about Metro west!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ARGH. It is YOU that is IMBY guided here, and you're trying flip this?

wtf

powder does post about his backyard in winter when wx conditions warrant it but he always prefaces it with ....yes this is a locale post or i'm sure you sick of upslope ....unless it's an upslope thread

and i mean if you lived somewhere where you get 260 inches of snow in a winter like last year you probably would have died from over orgasaming

beauty day outside today low 80's now....and lots of scatter'd run of the mill storms in the NE NNE today ....storms moving /Se into SNE hopefully...actually judging by radar....one just tickled Tip's nape about 20 min's ago
