Damage In Tolland
Headed to Storyland? We were at Santa's Village today. Had a 20-minute downpour, but aside from that, beauty of a day. Off to Mt. Washington tomorrow. Enjoy your trip. Both.Enjoy
HIPPYVALLEY
Better be hiking and not taking that stupid road. Nothing worse than hiking 3.5 hours to the summit and going to take a well deserved picture only to be cut off by a family clamoring out of a minivan. A strong and adventurous young man like yourself should be hiking more remote peaks than that anyway. ; ) Adams and Jefferson are both azz kickers. scoob40
The official averages are 14.6 for BDL and 11.1 for BAF. NCDC does not publish normals for CEF. Preciate the response. I knew 19 sounded a bit high. BAF is usually a tick or 2 warmer than here so our number is probably 10 or so. ORHwxman was off even for BDL with the 19. BAF is in a more open flat area, CEF is surrounded by vegetation in a quite isolated spot. BAF's recorded highs are usually a degree or so higher and CEF's lows are usually lower as they radiate so well. Expecting a response from Channel 22 per an email sent to their weekend duo to see if they know the number.

Maybe they radiate a little better, but they average more 90 degree days than BOS and 10 would challenge that.
ski MRG
65/55, another perfect cool evening. I can't believe it's 9:30 and it's still 80* where Scooter lives. Yowzah.

Probably mid 70s, although the outflow boundary came through with NE winds. Could be cooler.

Don't fall for the one and done line.lol I can't wait to see how mean you'll be to Blizz once you get no sleep and your.....needs...take a backseat. CapturedNature
The official averages are 14.6 for BDL and 11.1 for BAF. NCDC does not publish normals for CEF. Somebody does because I remember seeing them when I interned at a station in Springfield in the late 80s. Back then though, BDL was considered the "official" station but we would look at BAF and CEF as well but BDL was almost always used in a recap for the day or records. The Springfield newspaper (The Republican) has a wx station on their roof now and they compare their temps/data to normals/records at CEF. They don't seem to do this online, just in the print edition. I'll have to dig around some and see if I can find some source online.

I don't have a mean bone on my body, but it's natural for me to correct stuff that gets twisted if you know what I'm saying. They'll be a few times where he claims the euro shows snow 6 days out, but all the while it furnaces us at 850mb. That's when the hand comes down. The high heat has made you and Will absolutely savage when it comes to poor Blizz. Just because he missed a little when he called for days and days of 100+ heat and tens of thousands of New Englanders dead doesn't mean its ok to be so vicious. I thought you guys were friends. With friends like that who needs enemies. BTW, the Bills are looking really, really tough. The poor Pats.

Mr Torchey
Official heat wave here, but as I said earlier I dont really see it as such, last 3 days 91 92 92. In my eyes a perfect weekend and missed any storms today, the end to another perfect beach session with plenty more on the horizon. Simply does not get any better, two sunny less humid mid to upper 80s days on tap bse2 rolls on and on and on. Have a fantastic night everyone. Aside from the one (for some areas two) scorching day two weeks ago, most of us would have shrugged off these two warm stretches as typical summer weather. ORH_wxman
I think 10 is too low. Maybe they radiate a little better, but they average more 90 degree days than BOS and 10 would challenge that. The 1971-2000 NCDC averages show that BDL gets 17.7 days per year average at or above 90F...the new normals added on a day I believe which is where I got the 19 from. I know I have seen it before. For some reason I can only find the '71-'00 online right now though and here is the 17.7 days: http://hurricane.ncdc.noaa.gov/climatenormals/clim20/ct/063456.pdf

West wind today, I smell a diaper downslope dandy...........guesscast 91 for bdr. In any event the sultry devine humidity has relaxed this morning, I know that makes a lot of people happy, so enjoy!
