Ginx snewx
Have a great time Steve. Check in from time to time to poke Blizz with a sharp stick. I will, especially when I am highly intoxicated like he said I was the other day when I doubted his death torch with multiple severe derecho days. HIPPYVALLEY
damage is done, can't really hurt it anymore by doing physical activity because it's already torn. I've still been squatting ~400 lbs...you know that weight you could probably do half of while you were my age. Just gets sore against extended resistance. Running/weights =/= that. Skiing does. Ha! Good one. Don't kid yourself, I don't know what you've "torn" but no matter, be it tendon, muscle, ligament or fascia the body is a web of interrelationships, via the connective tissues there is a head to toe "kinesiological linkage" if you will. The ankles and knees are more weight transfer mechanisms than weight bearing. If you are pushing extreme weights than you are undoubtedly causing imbalances in the integrity of your overall musculoskeletal structure. Best to keep your exercise less extreme both pre (and of course post surgery.) ( fyi - I have a background in sports massage and acupuncture.) dendrite
I'll be surprised if its even that warm. No one is getting 90s on Monday.

ORH_wxman
No one is getting 90s on Monday. Hard to see it happening Tuesday as well. I guess never count out BDL, but mid-level temps are like +12 or +13.

ORH_wxman
Is this a mistake or have things changed ? http://forecast.weat...ld2=-72.658&e=0 Nothing has changed...if anything I think Tuesday has looked slightly cooler than it did a couple days ago. I wouldn't forecast 93 at BDL personally for Tuesday, but I've been wrong before and will be again.

ORH_wxman
I had 88 on mon and 89 for tue. Yeah that seems more reasonable. I'd probably go similar. It pretty hard to get past 90 with +12-13 at 850 even in the torch spots.
CoastalWx
Whats your fave beer? I like woodchuck amber hard cider in cans in the summer, refreshing on the beach, dont think they make 30pks, couple 12 packs will do if I win, let me know your fave! Well congrats on the win. A bet is a bet. I still wouldn't change my thinking as the fact that every other station was below normal shows that my logic was correct. However, I can't account for things like UHI and how it effects Logan given things like wind direction so something to think about going forward. The rate of descent will pick up as we go. Hope the Warministas enjoy the fleeting heat. I don't know about you but I'm glad this "heat wave" was another total bust. ski MRG
LOL. Heat, shmeat. Just give a few showers to keep the soils moist. Nice light breeze this morning. 58/58, off a low off 57. Just stellar weather for this time of year. Last night was the first time we really had to water the garden. I noticed that there was still some standing water on a few of the low spots on the golf course last night. The t-storms the other day gave us a good dose of water. Mr Torchey
Good morning SNE!!!! 74 sultry degrees under hazy blue skies, you can smell the fire in the air and it smells like success. OKX NWS UPTON forecasting sun and fun high of 94, that makes a heatwave here baby,, forecast high of 89 tomorrow, would be great to sneak one more 90 out. They have also increased temps for the upcoming week and every single day is above normal climo here..............as we look to burn again next weekend! Again, no torch, just solid constant day after day above normal stuff. LtotheL
