It Really Was a Heat Wave II (unless it wasn't, in which case it was weak sauce)- - Obs and Disco Late June/Early July 2012

Another perfect beach day, even had a mid level cloud deck roll in around 430 to cool our burning skin, was la epic.

High of 92 today.........I dont consider this a heat wave at all just typical summer weather, and oh boy oh boy was it sweet!!

Dude I completely understand why you love this type of weather living next to the beach; I would too living on the water.

Summer is the season your town on the beach does best... its the best part of living there, so very understandable to love this time of year with hot temps. Its the same thing up here but winter is what we do best, so of course that's what I prefer... but its always fun to enjoy the area you live in when its in all its glory.

CEF, BAF and BDL should make official heat wave status and BOS will likely fall 1 degree short on Friday. 6 out of the last 10 days above 90 at the 3 western ma. spots. Not too shabby by anyone's standards I daresay.

BDL was supposed to be BOS. Guess the overnight lows helped. Considering every other cities were below.

Whats your fave beer? I like woodchuck amber hard cider in cans in the summer, refreshing on the beach, dont think they make 30pks, couple 12 packs will do if I win, let me know your fave!

Well we're losing 40 seconds of daylight per day now. Increases daily to a 1 minute per day by next Saturday.

For reasons I do not understand.... we have lost almost 4 minutes of sunlight in the morning, but don't lose our first full minute in the evening until July 2.

Mets and mods don't troll

83.8F for the high here today (I think)...

This is a very wusified heat compared to 2 weeks ago

It's was time for beat down. The weenies have ruled the roost too long.

91F was the high at TAN. Has backed off to the low 80s now. Low was 58.

Tomorrow looks like carbon copy of today. Slight chance of t-storms.

92 sunny day, scattered mids since late afternoon, picture perfect same thing tomorrow, no torch just solid above normal which equates to incredible beach weather, these weekends have been special, I never remember a spring and summer where inclement weather took place early in the week and the weekends were so spectacular. What a great pattern we are in.

82/58 at 7:30pm. Delightful!

Topped out at 88 today. Humidty was very tolerable.

Looks like a warm but not oppressive week ahead.

Agreed! Very pleasant, always amazing how the human body acclimates to the season, 92 today and felt comfortable.

205. I suppose I'll start to cut sometime this summer but it's just too much fun. I'm also getting ankle surgery and won't be able to walk for 6 weeks at the end of July, so I'm trying to put up as much mass as possible before then as I'm sure I'll lose a decent amt.

FTL.

However, Pickles...just to see if I still could I just ran 5 miles in about 50 minutes with an ankle scheduled for surgery in 3 weeks at 205.

FTW.

I think it is related to our distance from the Tropic of Cancer...I forget.
