Chicago Storm
Little to no wind here with it. It had a nice shelf cloud though... I went out a bit too late to take a time-lape or any real good shots, but I was able to take a few as it was about to pass overhead. Two shots of the shelf cloud as it passed... A-L-E-K
kind of surprised that complex hasn't taked advantage of the extreme instability to the south. 12z guidance hinting at another complex firing somewhere around NE Iowa later this evening. Chicago WX
Nice shots fellas. Looks like its going to be a whiff to the north of LAF. Ugh.
Indystorm
I hope I at least get a t storm with some rain out of this complex in NW IN. As I look over my weather log it surprises me to see that the best t storm I have had at my location this year at least in terms of vivid lightning was January 23 at 2 a.m.

Hoosier
Outflow boundary starting to get out ahead especially around Newton county southwestward. Hope we are not setting up for a rainless outflow passage here...
Hoosier
A few weak echoes starting to go up around the Iroquois/Benton county border. Let's see if anything becomes of them.

Indystorm
Got a nice shelf cloud comparable to earlier photos going over me now and nice outflow. Svr warning to west in St. Joe County. Indystorm
Severe storm south of Plymouth is drawing most of the energy away from the cell IIMBY. It's still nice to see raindrops and a flash or two of lightning.
Chinook
Impressive rain/hail and base velocity on this storm, especially around Plymouth. Base velocity shows a few 50 knot areas. You usually don't see the hail indicated at 3.25".

A-L-E-K
Pretty high confidence in another MCS coming out of Iowa and into Chicagoland overnight. EDIT: nice to see the southern end of the boundary go off just in time for our LAF friends.
