IWXwx
I noticed that IWX's radar appeared to be picking up cars all the way over on I-65 in the LAF area this evening. I stepped the radar back several scans and they showed up in different places along the interstate on each different scan. It must be a case of superrefraction for the radar to pick cars up from that distance.
Indystorm
The Benton County IN wind turbine farms are showing up very clearly this evening on LOT radar.
Hoar_Frost
Very prolific lightning to my west-southwest, and the storms are a good 20 miles away.
IWXwx
The Benton County IN wind turbine farms are showing up very clearly this evening on LOT radar. Here is an example from about 9:30 ET. Notice the returns that align with the interstate. In each scan the lines or dots are in a different location. I thought of the wind farm in that area, but this isn't it. Looks to be just a weird anomalous propagation.
cyclone77
Just a short video of the shelf cloud rolling in underneath the redeveloping bow echo. Sorry for all the trees, but had I expected something this decent I would have went outside of town...
