CT Rain
Wednesday could be a decent severe day. Today still looks sort of meh... but we will fire some convection up.
CoastalWx
Today looks like nothing too special, except maybe south of the pike? I guess they'll be some storms around. I'd feel better if we can get those lapse rates in the OV in here.

High dews ..check..sun ou...check...let's have some fun Unfortunately your high dew fetish FTL today. Models really mix out the dews this afternoon in most of inland CT. Had we kept dews in the 65-70 range we'd actually have a decent severe threat today given the amount of shear and forcing.

Every time you've said the dews would mix out in the PM they haven't over the last 2 weeks. Nothing points to anything being different today. Dews should remain in the mid-upper 60's for the whole day ..so hopefuklly that will be all we need

And actually you FTL - they've mixed out pretty much every day AWT except for that one day of the last heat wave when we were able to advect in higher dews through the day. Also Friday wasn't a day anyone was really expecting a big mix-out of dews... it always looked like a hot and humid day. You for an epic loss on this one. There was one day of the last 14 many of us thought dews would mix out and it didn't happen.

There was one day of the last 14 many of us thought dews would mix out and it didn't happen. There were many posts from many mets on Friday saying Friday dews would mix out in the early afternoon into the low 60's. It did not happen. We are talking about places where peop,e live with home wx stations..not an ASOS on a tarmac where dews are always lower. Every home station Friday had dews in the 70's all day. There were many posters that were making posts that they had dews over 70. It's funny how you have such a selective memory and use BDL to verify everything. Go back and read the thread..Everything I just posted is all in there

CT Rain
Go back and read the obs and disco from Friday and you'll actually see I'm not...It's all right there for everyone to back and see. So I read through the thread... and you FTL. You started your absurd home sensor > ASOS argument which just makes no sense at all. Then you pointed out a few stations were >70F for dews in the morning... Scooter said those would mix out a bit (as they did in the places that had super high dews in the AM). Then the conversation moved to the drier air that was advecting in from the north and west. That happened.

This board has changed . We have good posters and mets who have turned nasty to one another.. Noone gives anyone crdit for anything when they get something right..I miss how it was in the old days . I'm as guilty of it as everyone else is. It's all about making someone else look bad or feel dumb..which sucks
