Not much lift down here...strongest forcing is up across extreme northern New England but yes...cap has been quite strong all day...would take a pretty powerful s/w to break it.

Did anything happen up in Mane today?

Those storms in the Mid west are intense, there was even a few 70+MPH gusts with them, WOW!!!

Action getting going now and appears to be configuring into a line. Things could get really interesting up there b/c storms are starting to grow pretty tall so cooling from outflow and cold pool associated with the line could really help to erode the cap even further just out ahead of the line so more storms may quickly fire and become severe rather quickly.

Yea, there is a few Warnings up there, it is a shame that we could not get anything up here.
