lightning and thunder here Had a 5mph wing gust, shook the building.

My sister in law loses power when pigeons land on her power lines. So we decided to stay there for Irene  Around 4AM the power went out.

And Sundog. He always gets a damaging storm that knocks down dozens and dozens of trees. If not hundreds, like in 2010.

I havent had a sereve storm that knocked down trees in 10 years, only thing that knocked tress down in last 10 years was Irene and the March Noreaster from a few years ago.

I just hope people don't think that what came through this morning was it. Especially when its sunny and warm this afternoon. I hear alot of oh my god its here already when it was sprinkling and others saying its going to last for 3 days because scattered storms are in the forecast through the weekend. They need to understand that what is potentially coming through later on is nothing like this morning or anything tomorrow or Saturday.

Meanwhile I'll be salivating from AC not able to gamble or anything because I'll be glued to my phone

Everyone seems well informed about later, people at work talking about it, good to know.

Screw the computer models. You could end up being the big winner. :)

NJZ025-262000-

COASTAL ATLANTIC-

INCLUDING THE CITIES OF...ATLANTIC CITY

930 AM EDT THU JUL 26 2012

...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS EVENING...

.TODAY...MOSTLY SUNNY. A SLIGHT CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND

THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON. SOME THUNDERSTORMS MAY PRODUCE

GUSTY WINDS...SMALL HAIL...HEAVY RAINFALL AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING

THIS AFTERNOON. BREEZY WITH HIGHS IN THE UPPER 80S. SOUTH WINDS

15 TO 20 MPH. CHANCE OF RAIN 20 PERCENT.

.TONIGHT...PARTLY CLOUDY. A CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS...

MAINLY IN THE EVENING. SOME THUNDERSTORMS MAY PRODUCE GUSTY

WINDS...SMALL HAIL...HEAVY RAINFALL AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING IN THE

EVENING. BREEZY AND LOWS IN THE UPPER 70S. SOUTHWEST WINDS 15 TO

20 MPH. CHANCE OF RAIN 40 PERCENT.

From Mt. Holly.

ANOTHER AREA OF CONCERN I THINK IS CONVERGENCE ASSTD WITH A LEE

SIDE TROF IN E PA IN THE 22Z-03Z WHICH WOULD SHOVE SHORT LINES OF

SVR TSTMS BOWING EWD FROM SE PA THRU S NJ. THIS IS LOWER CONFIDENCE

AND HOTTER AIR SO THE HAIL MAY BE SMALLER. THIS IS WELL DEFINED IN

THE 00Z/26 SPC WRF. SHOULD BE BOWING SEGMENTS DEVELOPING OUT OF A

NNE-SSW AXIS FM ROUGHLY KSEG SWD TO NEAR KDCA IN THE 20-23Z TIME

FRAME AND SWEEPING EWD OFF THE S NJ/DE COASTS BETWEEN 03-05Z.
