Buildings, vehicles, trees, and power lines were all damaged last night. Power is out for at least the next 48 hours across those areas -- which are under tornado watch right now. on_wx
tornadohunter.ca is live having a Q&A/party in their car with Canadian storm celebrity Mark Robinson in the backseat who chases for The Weather Network. Greg Johnson is in the passenger seat and Rearflank Ricky is driving the truck. They are actually quite entertaining! http://live.tvnweather.com/ PASPC thinking tornado threat may be confined to southern Saskatchewan today. I guess some boundary isn't shifting as far north as previously thought, but the high risk remains surrounded by a moderate with a slight going into Manitoba. on_wx
The tornado watch has just been extended east to include the capital city of Regina. Also looking at radar looks like the cap is eroding and initiation is taking place in south central Saskatchewan between Swift Current and Moose Jaw. That is the storm the tornadohunter.ca team has stumbled upon. Edit, if anyone can't watch the stream here is a screenshot of the developing storm And like 3 minutes later...
