Chicago Storm
ORD is up to 102. This ties the record for the date of 102 (1911). This is the first year with at least 3 100+ days since 1988 (7 days). It is also the 2nd consecutive 100+ day, which is the first time since 7/13-14/1995. ORD added 2 more degrees from this point yesterday...

hawkeye_wx
Temps are into the upper 90s all around Cedar Rapids, but the CR airport actually fell one degree to 93 last hour. I swear, if the sun moved 30 million miles closer to Earth the CR airport still would never hit 100.
Hoar_Frost
ORD is up to 103. It's 102 here now. As it stands now, the highest temperature at ORD since 13 July 1995.
Hoosier
ORD is up to 103. It's 102 here now. I wonder if that might be it, although vis sat shows them near the edge of the CU so maybe they can tack on another degree before it's over.

Micro-cell looks to at least partially move over the airport...so that's probably it unless there was an intra-hour bump.

Hoar_Frost
Up to 103 here, which would be the highest temperature here since 13 July 1995 (104 that day, per my parents). A bit high compared to DPA (about 3.5 miles east), but I am in town (so a little UHI), for one, and not next to corn fields and an irrigated golf course, for another. Nonetheless, I would concede that I run a degree or two higher than I ought to.
