Hoping for a more typical rest of July from this point forward.

SpartyOn
101 with a slight breeze isn't all that bad. I'm in the pure minority here. I won't even dare to perform physical work today. But I'll take this over the grey cold of winter. That is why I am sitting on my porch with a cold Yuengling!

Chicago WX
Every 4th of July, they have a soldier stand at attention at a makeshift memorial here in LAF. As I was leaving work, I saw a Marine taking his turn in full regalia at said memorial. Dude has to burning up. Kitty corner from him, a woman had obviously drawn the short straw...as she was on the corner with a sign advertising a big sale at Lazy-Boy. Her boss should be punched in the mouth. daddylonglegs
I was swimming in grandpa's pool today that gets a hefty amount of shade all day long...still was 87F and that is after filling it up 4 inches with cold well water ...it'll be 90F by Friday i'm sure... These public pools are going to be even worse off because they have no shade.
