PottercountyWXobserver
I haven't seen a thread for this, so I thought I would make one. I was hoping to have a thread to gather anything and everything related to helping organize weather websites, general links or information. I don't care if it is something basic like intellicast.com just post something that could be of use. I'm always for awesome weather access for those that want to always find more information to learn about. I will post some basics I know of and anyone that sees a link that isn't posted please provide your wealth of weather information so we can all access and share as much information as possible. http://www.meteo.psu...mski/ewall.html http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/oa/ncdc.html http://hint.fm/wind/ http://nws.met.psu.edu/plumes/ http://weather.rap.ucar.edu/ http://www.nrcc.cornell.edu/ http://www.weather.u...s.com/index.php http://wxcaster.com/weather.php3 http://www.instantwe...s.com/index.php I'll post more later, but please post anything and everything weather related so I can bookmark as much as possible. I hope someone can post some good MJO links.

PottercountyWXobserver
I was hoping for some more contribution for all the members here. I really wanted to see a compilation of links and anything related to weather, so we could all share the wealth of information. Then once a bunch of links were posted, I was going to round them up neatly into categories for everyone to reference, but I guess I will be unable to do so if I don't get any information from you guys. Even if you think it is a link that everyone knows about, as long as the link hasn't been posted within the forum, please post it! I will post a few more that I know about. http://www.intellicast.com/ Decent weather site http://weatherworld.psu.edu/ Fred Gadomski. Paul Knight for those interested http://theweatherpre...om/basic/guide/ Decent Beginner site for those interested in learning about wx http://www.meteor.ia...l=nam&site=kbfd Just enter your 4 digit code, example Bradford, PA KBFD http://collaboration...pe_gem_reg.html Nice little animation of the CMC http://waterdata.usg...wis/uv?03010655 River information, just find your local river guage eventhough this is my river http://droughtmonitor.unl.edu/ Drought index, well known http://maps.wxjoe.com/ Decent temp maps http://www.atm.helsi...id=12&Itemid=38 Good publications and climate info http://db.hellohelp....torm_search.php Hurricane Data http://rapidrefresh.noaa.gov/ HRRR model for those that might not have known http://www.wunderground.com/?MR=1 Known wx side, still posting it anyways http://coolwx.com/cg...rent&field=prec http://airsnrt.jpl.n...SkewT_info.html More info about skewTs http://mesowest.utah...e=PA&rawsflag=3 http://www.esrl.noaa...ata/20thC_Rean/ http://www.esrl.noaa...composites/day/ http://www.esrl.noaa.gov/psd/map/ https://www.meted.ucar.edu/ Weather education site http://cawcr.gov.au/...sediag.list.htm MJO data http://www.bom.gov.a...4toRealtime.txt MJO data http://www.bom.gov.au/climate/mjo/ MJO data and good Australian weather information http://www.emc.ncep....STATS/MAPS.html https://sites.google...icseaicegraphs/ Arctic sea ice maps http://www.ecmwf.int/ Euro information http://www.appinsys....ming/AO_NAO.htm AO and NAO information http://iri.columbia.edu/climate/ENSO/currentinfo/QuickLook.html ENSO forecast I know alot of these links are pretty well known, but I was just posting them anyways. If you see any links that haven't been mentioned, please contribute a few, as any little bit will help make a pool of weather information for others that may not know about them and they can always go back and look at this thread for references to forgotten links.
