86 here already; should be able to make 90 here locally within the hour. From the radar, that activity in Iowa, especially the lead activity, seems to be falling apart with eastward movement, but I wouldn't be surprised if it clouded up later. If it did cloud up (without attendant rain), I have to wonder how that would modulate convective chances around here.

And, it's 90, the 30th day this year AOA 90.

Looks like there's a weak outflow boundary from around ORD to JOT to near PNT to around PIA that's providing the focus for some convective development. It will be interesting to watch in the next hour or two how the OFB interacts with the lake-breeze boundary, which itself has forced a cell or two in the UGN area.
