Amped Posted June 30, 2012 Share Posted June 30, 2012 Getting loud bangs here and some occasional big drops. Intersting to see what happens along the coastal plane. The OFB will pick up some speed in the smoother terrain. It could outrun the upper disturbance and kill the line. Doubt this happens early enough for DC and west. My fiance's car was sitting at a light when the tree next to her got hit with lightning. Storm also knocked trees and knocked out a substation.
