not sure if you're bustin me but yeah with your toes in the water there is a breeze, not far away from the water there wasn't much of a breeze, doesn't happen much around here.,

Not busting you... there was virtually no breeze at the beaches but some made it out to sound like a tropical storm.

there was an surprising lack of wind yesterday in aquidneck island (newport, not a good sailing day) which as you point out contributed to the high temps (for here). walked eighteen on a course known for its wind and there wasn't a breath of air the entire round during the PM

Yep seabreeze died around 4 as you know happens all the time. Some folks without local knowledge who live in cities or grew up on the sound not the ocean can not grasp the concept.

Graph number 2 posted showing real data that Ryan refuses to admit.

We'll have to see, but BOS low may have been 80 again. 2 nights in a role possibly.....don't think I can ever remember that. That's what west winds will do coming off the city.

Low was 79. That is still very impressive. Mid 90s for most today, but seabreeze may knock it back a few on the coast.

It has never happened before. BOS got down to 79 this morning, so I guess that's one record that will live on.
