BDL and ORH should easily come in AN for the month..Other 2 will be close

No they won't.

BDL and ORH will finish below normal too unless we sneak a little heat bubble in here next Fri/Sat. We have negative departures coming up Mon-Wed.

Ayup, 63 here this morn too after another 89er yesterday. Definitely a hot past two days but I suppose it could've been worse. We're through it now. Hoping Ullr's watery cousin gives the gardens a good drink sometime soon. :raining:

Hoping here as well--really sick of having to water the new grass I've planted. I'm going to do a half-assed job of it this morning with the hope that we'll get some natural stuff later on.

Envy your lower temps. Cooling fail here as typical.

68.3/64

It was 65F at 6am which is a degree warmer than same time yesterday but still a comfortable morning. Looking forward to some t-storms to knock down the heat tonight. Not looking forward to today's humidity.

This heat wave has been like the rest of 2012's weather in NE - underwhelming. I wanted eggs frying on walkways, tires melting to roadways and bushes spontaneously combusting.

Gotta go to 969' in CT for that.

it's hardly a breeze though...like 3 or 4 knots so not really doing much. still kinda neat.

regardless, there is hardly any wind right now...just a torching hot afternoon. unusual for out this way.

there was an surprising lack of wind yesterday in aquidneck island (newport, not a good sailing day) which as you point out contributed to the high temps (for here). walked eighteen on a course known for its wind and there wasn't a breath of air the entire round during the PM

All the breeze must have gotten stuck in Westerly. Ginx reported low 80s with a pleasant and stiff sea breeze all day long.

I'm talking about the folks and met who were talking about a cold, wet last week of June with much below temps and wild noreasters. It looks like days near 80 and nights near 60.. Where is the cold some were discussing?

Wouldn't highs near 80 and lows near 60 be below average by a few degrees? We're talking about BDL, in late-June, just a few weeks from maxing out climo after all.

3 day heat wave will be achieved. In any case, the back of the heat will break for at least a week after today. While Saturday and Sunday will be a bit above normal albeit pretty nice out particularly Sunday, Monday through Wednesday and possibly Thursday should be around 3-7 subnormal. June will finish subnormal in Boston.

Breeze must have been stuck up here--pretty stiff one4 through the day here yesterday. It's just picked up to start the day now. Lovely morning on the deck. The sun will clear the east facing trees in an hour or so, so it will get warm on it for a while. By 1:30 or so, I'll be back in the shade luxuriating in a refreshing breeze.

WOW

sunny 85 tomorrow, sunny 81 for sunday!!!!!

BSE2 rolls on, full steam ahead, speaking of steam.............enjoy the wall of stank as you exit your front door this morning, its absolutely invigorating.

Near 80 tomorrow, 70's Sunday here. Should be comfy, especially with the lower 50's forecasted for Saturday night.
