Yea really not much but perfect for the little ones to practice the body surfing boogie board skills for later. Great to spend time with four of the Grandkids today.

I thought Chris might have sent a little swell back this way, but man does that look like a perfect day, that shore break for us old guys spells rasberry and chin rash bro! lol

I make the most of whatever mother nature gives me scott, I prefer heat as you know, but yeah the PB weather was growing on me. As long as its sunny, thats all I care about, are you enjoying the heat, are you up in lake country?

Joe I'm bustin'. It's all about family and fun. Steve, great pics and family.

Yeah joe at the lake and loving it. I've been coming here since I was 2 months old and my Dad since he was a kid. The area is in my blood. I'll be here off and on all summer. Would love to live permanently here or in the Whites. Practically are in Whites anyways

Thats awesome Scooter and I know you are BB lol! I am glad you are having a good time up there, we all have "our" place that we go to, that we love, whether its the lakes in NH or the sand of the lowcountry of SC. Have a great trip, forge new memories, and just think this time next year you can start passing along all those memories to the next generation, its really special stuff.

Viva la summer

Scooter will be up to his eyeballs in dirty diapers. There will be no time or money for trips. Why do you get his hopes up like this. You should be honest with your friends.

BDL and ORH should easily come in AN for the month..Other 2 will be close

Out of 140 summer months at BDL with a departure of at least -0.9 through the first 21 days of the month, 130 of them finished below normal. BDL will need to average +2.3 over the final nine days of the month to finish at +0.1 which means 85/63 type days. Even a few days of solidly below normal days (like early next week) will pull the average down just enough to prevent an above normal finish.

Beautiful evening here at the golf club. Nice and breezy. I don't believe PF's post for a second. He never actually works.

lol... its hard to call most of what I get paid for, "work" but today was prepping the Gondola so spreading mulch up top, painting the terminal, hanging signage, etc.

Good day to be up there though... Mountain Operations building was probably pushing 90F inside with no AC.

With tomorrow hitting 96 and multiple days in the 90s next week BDL will have no trouble.

Not seeing many, if any solidly below normal days next week. Warm mins will do the trick.

Even if the next three days feature low-90s by day and around 70 at night, followed by six days of basically normal or a degree or two below (easily accomplished if a couple of the days fail to reach 80 - a statistically likely event over a random nine day sample in June), the month finishes negative. There's a reason history is what it is. Maybe we'll get lucky and this will be the 8th summer month to make the come back.
