CT Rain
I mean I wouldn't rule anything out given the heating and moist air mass, but it will be tough to generate enough convergence with just this backdoor I think. The Cu is breaking out around the office, but there is still next to no vertical development. Yeah there's just not much instability to tap into today down here even if we can force parcels to the LFC.

OceanStWx
yeah i think so. i think it sort of washes out but winds still turn onshore right to this area. I wouldn't be surprised if it acts like a pseudo sea breeze for coastal areas later today, i.e. not much of a push inland.

Probably will be enough of a kick to generate a sea breeze in East Mass even with the NW synoptic flow.

dryslot
Nicely shows the lack of friction allowing the front to "bow" into Casco Bay. We'll actually have the front wrap around the coastline and reach GYX from the south in all likelihood. Really nice day on the other side of that boundary though, with temps in the 70s and dewpoints in the 50s. Yeah, Its a good 10 degrees behind that front which should be quite refreshing

Chrisrotary12
? Where? CT? Most of CT for the 90 readings and then the places in between Boston and Worcester for the 90 and 100 numbers. Not that I am buying what it put out because it is about 10 degrees warmer than every other piece of guidance. Will have to see what 12Z says which should be soon hopefully. Tropopause_Fold
Highly conditional though. i can't say i've looked at anything up there but maybe up toward IZG area as that wind shift tries to press inland a bit...maybe enough convergence with the boundary and local topography?
