I didn't think it was bad at all. I enjoyed it.

I'm sure though it was different for the people who have to do work outside all day though.

Agreed, although I was also indoors most of the day. But when I was out, I noticed that the humidity levels were not brutal, and even without ac, a good fan with cross ventilation (two open windows), could still be fairly effective.

I was going to walk to work but I ended up taking the bus just b/c I wanted to get to work as close to 2 PM as possible (normally a 35 minute walk or so) but from where I get off on the bus to work it's like a 7-8 minute walk and it wasn't too bad...sure I sweat a bit but I didn't feel overwhelmed by the heat/humidity.

When I was at work I would go outside as much as possible. I was changing lightbulbs today and when I had to throw the dead ones out instead of walking through to the back of the building and going out the back door to the dumpster I went to the dumpster via going outside by the front door and walking around to the back of the building and then walking back around to come inside. When I had to do the zamboni instead of walking back through the rink I went outside.

I drew a little diagram of how I normally walk through the rink to get outside and such:

Thanks for that. After reading your lengthy verbal description, I was still a bit unclear about a couple of aspects of your perambulations. The diagram helped a lot.

Dews are lower across the board this morning..Currently 75/66 here..so good call to those that had that..the reason is there's a breeze this morning..whereas yesterday noone had any wind.

BDL should lock 100+today now

Off to run and enjoy the hot

Windy start to finish here in GC.

I wonder if they rise a tiny bit like yesterday morning, but they should mix out a bit. That also may promote higher temps. Tomorrow could have higher dews maybe.

Not sure where you're getting that statement from, Kevin. We had a fresh breeze from late morning into the evening here. Awesomely comfortable on the deck.

Yes on the higher launch point today, already 69.7/64.

BOX zfp is lower 90's, p/c is for 91. Yesterdays were for mid-90's/94 respectively with the actual high coming in at 90.1. Hopefully, we'll stay shy of 90 today

One thing we will have going tomorrow is more of s southerly/southwesterly flow which should help to increase dews some along with theta-e advection.

64/63 imby. Nice morning but you can just feel it's gonna' torch out quickly with the sunrise.

Sounds like an okay night on the Green River--congrats!

It may torch, but I think the lower dews will make it not that big a deal--at least for a few (I see BOX has no advisory for the western zones, ftw). The lower dews will also allow for a better cooling off once we get past the peak.

Down to 69.0/64. Nice to have my temp continuing to tick downward after sunrise, ftw.

I wonder if some storms could pop late afternoon/evening right along the boundary where the better height falls are occurring and where the sea-breeze sets-up. Or there could be a cell or two that develops in northern New England that moves right along the greater instability axis down into NE MA.

I don't know..There's a def breeze in the hills this morning..Gusts to 15mph already, so I don;t think we'll have the mid 70's dews all day like most of us had yesterday..There just wasn't any wind to mix it out yesterday.

I'd think they come back up this evening..and tomorrow back into the low-mid 70's as we gear up for 5 inches of rain in 3 hours.

79/69, a high of 88 (85 @ 2k). A beautiful evening with a delightful breeze. Tonight was the first night of the Summer Youth Golf Clinic here. Temps settled back to the low 80's when we started. At 1700' the breeze and tolerable DP's made it fun for all. We've got a great enrollment this year and being a volunteer asst. coach is rewarding. How funny it is to see urbanites, who view themselves as cosmopolitan, display such small minded, provincial attitudes when it comes to the value of obs from the great expanse of territory beyond their concrete cocoon. I've got news for you guys, there are millions of people that reside in rural settings across this great nation. The weather we experience is every bit as real and important as the weather you experience. Checkout the flag in the picture Blizz, nice cooling breeze just as I said. Oh, those trees in the background, the ones that have there leaves flipped over and their branches being bent. That is also indicative of wind.

Looks like everyone there is preppy with short hair..Wonder if the picture taker fits in?
