Lame. Barely any lightning even. Gl to the east

Static build up from Pete's hair caused his electrical assault. Although, I wonder if these were real close strikes, or weenie 1.5 mile close strikes. Lightning data had strikes there, but wasn't too prolific.

Whoa??? You record that! Impressive.

I have a Stratus RG202 attached to a fence post out in the middle of the yard. Just emptied it so I can see what we get for this next round.

This mornings storms were just training over the Salem area from 7:30 - 9:30am ahead of the main line of storms. Tons of lightning, a few wind gusts, and the torrential rain.

Or some really heavy bolts. Our rather mild Saturday TS had few strikes, maybe 1/minute, but some were real ground shakers. Closest one I counted was 11 seconds, over 2 miles, and it arrived like a cannon shot, louder than many 2-second strikes I've heard.
