CoastalWx
Lame. Barely any lightning even. Gl to the east Static build up from Pete's hair caused his electrical assault. Although, I wonder if these were real close strikes, or weenie 1.5 mile close strikes. Lightning data had strikes there, but wasn't too prolific. Damage In Tolland
This is what happens when CLP starts tossing tornado around..From one of my FB folks..Had to correct her It was confirmed that we had a tornado in our backyard. The town is going to take care of the gigantic tree in the yard. So thankful I don't have to pay for that!
free_man
Sun poking through, here. Looks like a few light showers and maybe an isolated thundershower, if we're lucky.
metagraphica
Whoa??? You record that! Impressive. I have a Stratus RG202 attached to a fence post out in the middle of the yard. Just emptied it so I can see what we get for this next round. This mornings storms were just training over the Salem area from 7:30 - 9:30am ahead of the main line of storms. Tons of lightning, a few wind gusts, and the torrential rain.

Although, I wonder if these were real close strikes, or weenie 1.5 mile close strikes. Lightning data had strikes there, but wasn't too prolific. Or some really heavy bolts. Our rather mild Saturday TS had few strikes, maybe 1/minute, but some were real ground shakers. Closest one I counted was 11 seconds, over 2 miles, and it arrived like a cannon shot, louder than many 2-second strikes I've heard.
