Boch23
I could not resist the temptation any longer DRY BEGETS DRY ----- OK now it will rain this week because dammit it is dry Two weeks of rain in late May early June maybe not enuf to recharge through the summer if this keeps up From desert drought conditions to life threatening flooding rains and tropical systems back to desert drought conditions in a 2 month period. You know it you keep this up you will eventually be right. Btw around 3.5 inches of rain over the last 3 weeks.
Parsley
Btw around 3.5 inches of rain over the last 3 weeks. Lucky! Rain has stayed south of the PA Turnpike and east of the NE Extension for the most part during that stretch.

Parsley July is the most precip month for the Lehigh Valley. Last few years have had some dry and hot spells during the summer but the lawn turns brown because of the extreme heat and temporarily goes dormant. Wasn't last year pretty wet as well in July? July 2011....Allentown had close to 4" for the month, Reading was closer to 2". Trenton was a little under 2". I'm pretty sure I was closer to the lower number for July. It's always so hit/miss (thanks to convection) this time of year with rain. We all know what happened last August though when the skies opened up. Yup my point is just becuase its dry in your backyard doesn't mean its dry in the entire area. I guess I'll have to start checking the frapigians when I go home. I guess we will start hearing "It will only turn the grass green and raise base streams levels temporarily" again.

Weather-related... my point-and-click forecast has been having technical issues for the past day or two. I'm guessing it has to do with the new site design. tombo82685
the long range models are showing the front coming through on sunday that pushes south lifts back north next week and stalls in the area. 0z euro shows the front lifting north around the wed timeframe. It dumps 4-6 inches of rain on the region with the most in the central del to eastern shore of md.
