0.65" since last evening here in NW Chester County - 1.94" so far this week but still 0.88" below normal for the month with 2.06" of rain in July. YTD rain still only 72% of normal with just 18.64" of rain 7.40" below normal rainfall to date here in Chesco

2.2 in Bryn Mawr overnight. The world is far greener than yesterday.

Got 1.80 last night which takes me to about 3.30 here for the month in Ne Philly Not including the 2 drops from Th of July lol.

Looking at latest data from the spc looks like showers and some heavier showers can form at any time today in mini boundaries. Fingers crossed this clear out quickly tomorrow leaving for a weeks vacation in new england tomorrow 8 hours + traffic is long enough without the rain ha.

Wow, for New Castle County, the GFS, NAM, and Mt Holly have backed off significantly on forecasted precip or potential precip from yesterday to day. Hopefully, expectations will be exceeded

Don't hold your breathe brother.....the trend has not been our friend all summer long. Tumbleweeds down the streets around here.

Seriously it is amazing watching everything shrink and dry up was it gets past Lancaster. Where has all the modeled rain gone? North, south or just poof?

Not sure what the fuss is about less rain some areas have gotten 2-3+ according to the NWS. could be some more tonight too from the convection in west pa.

Actually, my and blue hens' comments were limited to New Castle County as many of our SE Pennsylvania forum posters seem well rained upon so far. It's been quite different in New Castle County. Oh well, at least my grass is still mostly green.

You guys are acting like the precip backed off for only New Castle County, lol. HPC has .25-.50 for the southern part of the area now, that's it, including DE. And it's not like you guys didn't see any rain at all last night. If you think DE is dry, try going out to Indiana, and surrounding areas, you'll complain a hell of a lot less. This is summer, you know, everyday isn't a washout.

Not not quite like the Midwest but ILG still down 9.18 for the year which is 61% of norm......very dry.

I'll be surprised if we see anything else today.....hasn't rained a drop since like 7 am.
