phlwx
Took a quick swim at the pool. It's hot out but there's enough of a breeze to cool u off briefly after getting out. Thankfully the dewps are dropping a little bit as the atmosphere mixes out...it could be worse up my way.
Thunder Road
already hit 100.1 at 12:38 pm imby, now back down to 98.2 PHL at 98 and PNE at 99 as of 1:00. 100 is a lock for both, and 103 (the record) might even be in the running for PHL if our moisture continues to mix out. NJHurricane
some sort of boundary per KDIX sagging southward through central jersey, about to parallel roughly i-195....wonder if any sea breeze boundaries later on intersecting it could be a focal point for something. NJHurricane
fwiw...the much maligned HRRR shows the cluster NW of Williamsport to evolve into a decent size line of storms expanding S and E...but shows the eastern half of the line pulsing down after moving about 15 miles south of the i-195 corridor. Sunny and Warm
Same here in macungie Grother, Here is a normally very accurate thermometer for your area. Always within a couple tenths of mine which was only 0.25 miles from you. It is currently at 99.2, the highest for today. It is set right along the little Lehigh about 1.3 miles upstream from you. I notice it is actually running hotter than other sites in that local area, such as Air Products station. I would still trust it though. http://www.wundergro...ast?query=18011
svh19044
I reached a high of 100.0 in Horsham, PA. The temp. is now down to 98.7. Oddly, I've been keeping an eye on it, and I don't recall seeing it over 99.4 at any point, yet somewhere in a couple minute timeframe within the past 2 hours, it peaked to that high right when I must not have been watching. I'm only replying because the 103 in Macungie seems a bit far-fetched. None the less, impressive high!

I know it may be a degree off, but what the hell. It was hot any way I look at it and some of the readings in our region are close to mine. Ray clued me into this site last year. Thanks anyway http://raws.wrh.noaa.gov/cgi-bin/roman/meso_base.cgi?stn=AR731&time=GMT
