moneypitmike
Still wall-to-wall clouds here, but there is some brighteining of them. Who knows, maybe we'll have sun early today.
HoarfrostHubb
Either way, another night in the mid 40s across the burbs again. Last night? Who? The usual folks in Norwood, etc? We only got to 54F or so...

moneypitmike
2 in college? Oof! Tell me about it! My second will be a hs senior this year. so I have one more year where it's only the one. My wife has been clamoring to put in a pool--much to my disdain. I think I've convinced her to wait until after college (and then of course, I'll push to wait until after weddings). Knowing how these things work, though, I suspect she'll win out in the end. You married folks know how it is.........

Who knows, maybe we'll have sun early today. 60F Cloudy I'm guessing we don't burn off down here until after lunch. The cool starts with the cloudy mornings this week will make two days of 90's feel pretty damn hot. I'm sick of Ginx and LL having sun while we sit in the gray. lol

CoastalWx
i'm hoping state school. hope springs eternal. More and more it seems like CC is the way to go for a year or two, and then enter the college you want to take your main courses. If you can, of course. More cost efficient and you are more likely to get professors that speak English well and actually know how to teach.

We've discussed it. My wife teaches at greenfield cc, so she's certainly an advocate Fir that approach.

Baroclinic Zone
Looks like BOX finally shows 3 days of 90+ for TAN. 94/97/90 Haven't paid much attention but it looks like the temps have gotten warmer as we've gotten closer. BOX backed off on Friday but has bumped tomorrow and Thursday a degree or two. Luckily I'll be indoors for the worst of it. AC ftw.

Damage In Tolland
It's beautiful dude. Only for running. Other than that it's not. You shiver if windows are open ..car windows have to be up and it's painful to see folks wrapped in sweatshirts at night. Just like I hate seeing short sleeves in the winter. I hate seeing coats /sweatshirts in summer

Is it ok if people like heat though? It almost seems like coldbullying on this board lately. Should everyone just conform to snow and cold, no heat? After all 90% of people pray against snow and cold and absolutely loved last winter. Some of the posts have been condescending and downright mean around here lately and I have not even posted in the heat wave thread, its a little creepy LOL. amarshall
i'm hoping state school. hope springs eternal. Massachusetts used to have a regional program where if UMass didn't offer the major you could get state school tuition rates in all of the NE colleges. So I went to URI with a UMass in-state school tuition. Best of both worlds. I also majored in underwater basket weaving with a minor in ebonics.
