i'm sort of surprised by some of these MET/MOS #s

a lot of 98-100 values.

it even has 91F at PVC on Wed...and Wed isn't the "hot" day out here.

I've seen MOS print out like 106-107 sometimes only to bust by 6 degrees lol

But yeah for Wednesday they seem a touch too warm.

If we can get 270-280 I wonder if we can go super adiabatic enough to get near 100 Wednesday? If the temps by the globals are right it will not happen but I could see a tick or two warmer than expected.

Yeah as modeled no... but if you tack on 1c at 850 you could at BOS.

OT--but who has sun yet today? So far, a day of 100* and the current 60* will give a torcherous average high of 80*, Of course, I think we'll warm up to 70-72 once the sun comes out.

Sun came out at 10 but man is it beautiful here. I would lock a day like this up all summer.

That morning dew bump on the home stations is mostly just condensation.

Yeah when those sensors are contaminated with whatever (salt is a common one at the shore) they provide a nice condensation nuclei that makes the sensor read high. It's not uncommon to see the home stations stuck at 100% while ASOS is more like 65-75% (I assume they're using heated temp/dew sensors) at say 8 in the morning.

It's important pointing these out, because it explains some issues to people who's temp may be a degree or two cool.

For us who live in heavily shaded areas it is a good representation of the air temp. Mine is in an unshaded area and I notice how much cooler the house is under the shade.
