weatherwiz
He's right where he wants to be... the center of attention. Kevin reminds me of the 16 year old girl that just realized she is blossoming and does everything to get attention.
weatherMA
Friday is sneaky eastern Mass/south Coast warmth I think. Scooter's favorite. BOS pulls off a heat wave while BDL only hits 87 Friday?
weatherwiz
leftover MCS potential Wednesday night too I think. GFS keeps us quite unstable throughout the night.

nzucker
On the 18z GFS, it looks as if Sunday may be another warm day before a stronger front comes through and brings below normal weather for early next week. There's still a lot of heat looming to the southwest in this pattern so we'll have to watch for intrusions of warmth.

CT Rain
NAM MOS has 99F at BDL Wednesday. 12z MEX was 94. I tacked on a degree for down sloping but I wouldn't be surprised to see things tick higher if warmth moves in a bit faster.

There's like a 3C difference in 850 temps on the 00z GFS and the 00z NAM. Pretty big difference for only 3 days out.

Have to see what bufkit shows but looks like perhaps by peak heating we have around +22C temps at 925mb near the area with +20C at 850mb...NAM does have sfc winds more westerly which would certainly aid in down sloping. Now sure if this will be an issue or not but I wonder if we see any high clouds...b/c of strong cap (700mb temps near +12C) I don't think we'll see much in the way of cumulus but there does appear to be some low-level moisture present looking at 925/850mb RH fields. moneypitmike
For Wed/Thursday, BOX is showing this for these furnace points: Windsor Locks-- 93 and 96 Springfield -- 93 and 96 Chicopee -- 92 and 96 Those Wed temps are hardly extreme for those locations. Also, they have heat-wave fail as those are bookended by low 80's on Tuesday and upper 80's Friday.

Damage In Tolland
Euro with 850's of +21 to +22 should equate to 99-100 on Wed and 101-102 Thurs at BDL Fri still very hot..Looks like a 93 or 94 at BDL Long term looks seasonable to slightly above..Not cool..just comfortable
moneypitmike
BOX has moved my p/c (along with many other locales in GC) to 80's for highs on Wednesday. Albany even has some P/C in the 80's on Thursday. Torch-a-licious. Perhaps it will be a mid-ground between the crazy temps some are spouting and these NWS annoyingly hot temps. Or someone's going to bust.
