I like the way he talks and he likes the way I talk, ha-hum

I want to party with Bozart, probably my biggest disappointment about not being able to attend the Conf is his presence. Somehow I think his highbrow act disappears after a couple of highballs and a good cigar. Meeting face to face melts away preconceived notions rather quickly. Pete is a major league ball buster and often pushes the envelope but as you and I know he is intelligent, well rounded and forward thinking. I actually believe Bozart, Pete, you and I are much alike in our belief system.

If any of you hot weather lovers really want to get a good dose of summer fun you can help strip the forms off this latest foundation. Then, once the flaming sun heats the new concrete and the blasted rock to incinerator temps you can help coat the foundation with hot rubber. After lunch, when it's really hot you can help prep for the radiant heat by putting down the reflective insulation that goes under the ground level slab. At the end of the day, should you survive, you can tell us all about how wonderful the heat is.

I think Johnnyos paving in July last year tops anything although working in a boiler room might be.

Testing unknown chemical cylinders in level B ppe in a parking lot is fun, too

Yea that doesn't sounds fun either, last year two guys couldn't even make it to work the next day, they didn't hydrate properly, I've been prepping all day.... dehydration sucks

As far as I can tell, Merge is a good family man -- a good daddy to his kids. That's worth a lot in my eyes. Something to salute.

He's still a crappy poster, though. :devilsmiley:

lol. We'd probably hit it off just fine. Maybe Bozart doesn't really get that we've all met in real life and have had a great time together. I'm sure Dave knows I'm kidding around with him as this is what we do in here. I'm not so sure about Bozart. He could be cool though he has been a d*ck to me. That probably has more to do with his allegiance to the hive or whatever cutsie little name they have for themselves. I've tried to be civil with him but, like most of them, he seems to be only interested in fomenting discord. It's funny, I think the olive branch is their kryptonite, as soon as I extend it they flee back into the woodwork. Luckily, if I want to see them, all I have to do is taunt them with pics of snow.

Yep, I'm drinking water until I feel like I'll puke tonight. Meanwhile, somewhere, my 20 somethings are doing Jaeger bombs. Silly kids, don't they know I'll show no mercy?

Ah youth, piece of cake at 20 s to party until dawn then sweat it out. Old guys like you should hydrate and be careful though.

I was looking back on the cold shot of mid Feb 1943...I still can't get over just how cold it was. Some of those midday temps on the 15th were mind boggling. Here's BGR amd BED...

Geez Boz, That's the nicest thing you've ever said to me. I'm welling up here. Would you please go over to DMB and tell them I'm not the monster they say I am? I just want to be loved. Is that so bad?

Seriously, I do love being a Dad (most of the time). I would be at a total loss though if I didn't have such an awesome wife. I'm a very lucky guy and I try not to take it for granted.

My all time worst job as a teenager, helped pump septic systems in the heat, brutal, stinky. Paid big bucks but just could not do it, lasted two weeks and said f this.

Steve, that is beyond brutal! I can still feel the sunburn on my shoulders at night lying in bed as an 18 yr old home for my first summer in college. My dad was a hardazz, but I am certainly glad he was, he still has an incredible work ethic.

The problem is they can't. They show up green around the gills and next to worthless. They'll wilt tomorrow. Tonight is their poker night and I told them tomorrow was going to be brutal and attendance is not optional. I really just have 3 that are problem children. As for the "old guy" thing, I regularly run these guys half my age into the ground. I will be drinking more of this delicious iced spring water though. MMMMmmmmmm!

They will be popping five hour energy and Red Bull like nothing. Your mountain bike skills speak of age.
