weathafella
Wow Boston pulled a -10 today. People with basic math skills know a below normal month is pretty much a lock now. That was with full sun....cloudless sky most of the day. Felt ok until sunset when you had to put on a jacket. Early springesque.

snowman21
BOS is going to be like -4.4F on the month after tomorrow...going to be just about impossible to wipe that out. 23 summer months at BOS started the first 17 days -4.4 or lower, and none of them ever came close to getting back to even or above normal. Closest was August 1992 which was -4.4 after the 17th and finished the month at -1.5. The biggest come back was in June 1907 when BOS was down -7.1 through 6/17, and closed out the month at only -2.4.
moneypitmike
Second morning running that has dawned with overcast. Cool and dank again. Sun didn't appear until about 10:00-10:30 yesterday. Hopefully it will come out sooner today.

Mr Torchey
What a miserable spring and early summer so far for BOS area and especially the cape, my aunt said its been pure misery out there. Hopefully things turnaround for them, meanwhile its absolute heaven here. Literally shaking, cant wait for the heat to arrive even though its short lived, just to feel the steam bath is to have lived.

HoarfrostHubb
Overcast here at work (Leominster). Some drizzle on the drive in. Not bad...guessing it disappears (I know, it does not "burn off" Scoots) in an hour or
forkyfork
today's negative departures look more impressive than anything after the heat wave http://www.meteo.psu.edu/~gadomski/ENSTDEP2_6z/tloop.html
moneypitmike
today's negative departures look more impressive than anything after the heat wave http://www.meteo.psu...2_6z/tloop.html Is that surprising? I was under the impression that post 'heat-wave' was going to be just somewhat cooler. Dank day. Good morning for the shawl.

Outside of the abnormal warmth of early spring...it's been a pretty typical few months. Nothing horrible nothing amazing.

CoastalWx
The N Foster coop averages 58" at 600 feet...probably some of those 700+ hills touch 60". Yeah exactly. They're a secret weenie spot.
CoastalWx
Another beautiful night with temps in the 40s. Congrats OWD and TAN. It was very cool when I left my parents last night. BJE keeps rolling.
Ginx snewx
Yeah exactly. They're a secret weenie spot. Just up the hill from me about a mile at 700 feet is East Kilingly and Sterling CT which borders Foster. One of our posters lives near there and used to plow roads for the state of CT. He told me in PM they always noticed a huge increase up there. The difference between my house and there is truly remarkable, in 11 when I thought I was buried a trip up the road revealed an incredible difference. I had 38 OTG they were topping 46-48 in that small area. Some places are just snow belts with proper orientation, elevation. Definitively a weenie spot to live if you need to live in the ECT WRI area.

ski MRG
Wow. After holding in the mid 50's until just after noon the temp has skyrocketed into the blistering low 60's. Just life threatening weather. Hope everyone stays safe and remembers to check on the elderly. Maybe Wiz can check on Blizz up on Mt.Baldy.

Mr Torchey
I would not call upper 60s in BDR beach weather either. It was amazing as the pics tell the story, water was amazing, tan is darker than ever and the beers were flowing, it was simply sunsational as the pictures clearly illustrate. Not sure what in Gods name you are talking about.

It doesn't mean you can't go to the beach and have beers. Especially since this is the temp I love.
