Damage In Tolland
Did the kids write "World's #1 Dad" on you bald dome, down onto your nape? 47F for a low (again). 70F for the high incoming Schweet! June will finish below normal, which is a "fail" for me. I though +1.5-+2 No they didn't lol. June won't finish below normal anywhere in SNE. 2-3 days of 100/75 will do that

June won't finish below normal anywhere in SNE. 2-3 days of 100/75 will do that Well, ORH won't be getting to 100, maybe 1-2 days of 90/65 or so, so that could punt them into positive territory when it is all said and done, but sort of depends on how much we cool down and what the nighttime lows are at the end of the month. Will be close!

CoastalWx
BTW, these clouds over the last 24 hours are not necessarily due to warm air inversion...but rather ocean effect cloudiness where the air aloft is cold enough to develop stratocumulus. There was some vertical development to the clouds yesterday and even a couple of sprinkles. Bases near 2000ft are another indication of that. Sort of like a mix of traditional marine layer and a bit of instability. Kind if cool.

ROOSTA
Clouds? - you know those white, gray sometimes very dark on occassion have a tendency to block out sunlight, hold temps at bay, filled with millions of droplets. Clouds what clouds? Stuff that rain and snow falls from. All different types too (I think) http://www.comet.ucar.edu/ Has to be a module or two defining clouds! Yesterday was miserable! Today better but temps are still very cool.

Logan11
Yeah I agree totally. This June has been lovely. I guess the 100F crowd just want extreme wx for excitement. For some reason (maybe the pain of it), I can't get up for extreme Summer heat like I do for extreme Winter cold. No matter how cold in the Winter, you can dress appropriately, etc. and enjoy it. No way to tolerate extreme heat and humidity unless you stay in a/c or spend your life in a pool. That's a pretty boring existence. That being said, I think I make just about that same comment in a similar thread here every Summer. LOL I don't get it...does a good June mean sweat dripping down your crack? To me, it's days like today. 50s in the morning and a mix of sun and clouds.
moneypitmike
Sun broke through at 10:15 during my run. Stayed out for 1/2 an hour, nowo buack into the clouds, though there are patches of blue visible to the east. At least the mistiness/drizzle has stopped, though it might be the best my grass will get until late week.
