EasternUSWX
Here is my new map on the severe tomorrow. Cape from 4000-5000 j/kg LI's from -9 to -12 and supercell comp ranging from 8-24 will cause a very active severe weather day.

Eskimo Joe
I bet they had like 100 people working on it today to make sure it is ready for tomorrow lol. Hopefully a 30 mph gust doesn't blow it over. I think you should ease up on haranguing CTP.

I think that came from the New Orleans NWS office in a special statement about hurricane Katrina back in 2004.

Santa Clause
On a serious note, NWS isn't really talking in specifics about tomorrow. Guess I can't blame them though, it's tough forecasting severe weather.

Santa Clause
Cool, sorry text was all messed up, I was on my phone. I have a job at LHU at admissions, but only is 7 to 1 twice a week...luckily for me. I think DuBois or Clearfield also may be good places?
wxmeddler
Hey Zach, I know your trying to crack a joke with that whole CTP/Katrina thing but I just want to point out that its against the law to emulate a federal agency. That's how that "new math" guy in California got taken out. I know your your trying to have some fun but they take this kind of thing very seriously, especially with the AWIPS headers on and all. If your going to poke fun at an event with an official NWS product make sure it's blatantly obvious its a joke. Otherwise your playing with fire.
