tamarack
That patch of RA that was weakening instead leapfrogged most of the Kennebec Valley and re-formed to the east. Maybe a couple cents in AUG, but I'm thinking "T" for my place. Still a rainy month, with 5.9" thru yesterday, but only 1/4" over the past 2 weeks. Still cloudy, and this isn't early July when there's still 4-5 hr of high-angle solar heating left after 2:30 PM. Maybe something noisy will happen later, but I'm guessing otherwise. eekuasepinniW
Your tropical paradise is coming to a close, Can't wait for the kill shot 1st frost... The tropical garden is evacuated well before we get any frost...this year October 10th will be its last day. And I will be safely enveloped in the 72-79 dewpoints of latitude 23 at the time first frost happens here.

powderfreak
Sun finally punching thru here Yeah we had a couple breaks but back to thick OVC with sprinkles. Pretty epic heat fail today in NNE, so that's a sign of the season...our one day torch got shot down and cool shots are gaining momentum.

J.Spin
I would think that August 30th is late for the first freezing/sub-freezing reading. OT, but is it just me, or does alpinezone stink more than ever as a forum? With this being fairly OT, I responded over in the ski thread.

Allenson
The sun finally broke out for a while yesterday afternoon but not for very long and not enough to send us into Torchville. Topped out at a reasonable 76. Had just a little rain too--0.05" to be exact. Although we're in decent shape water-wise, I'd still like to see another soaker. We'll see come Monday/Tuesday. Until then, time to enjoy what we've got. Hmmm, time for a NNE fall thread now that we're there....?
