That patch of RA that was weakening instead leapfrogged most of the Kennebec Valley and re-formed to the east. Maybe a couple cents in AUG, but I'm thinking "T" for my place. Still a rainy month, with 5.9" thru yesterday, but only 1/4" over the past 2 weeks. Still cloudy, and this isn't early July when there's still 4-5 hr of high-angle solar heating left after 2:30 PM. Maybe something noisy will happen later, but I'm guessing otherwise.

Heading towards Lewiston...how'd that work out Dryslot?

Storm motion of 65mph is impressive.

Pretty meh actually, As it hit a brick wall and was collapsing when it got here, If only we got up to the projected temps of 88F, Ended up 77F for a high, Torch phail here today

Near perfect Labor Day Weekend weather.... highs into the 70s, with lows in the 40s, all under sunny/clear skies! Currently I've got 58/58 with 1/4sm vis dense fog though its pretty shallow as its blue skies just up the road above 1,000ft.

Today: Sunny. Highs in the lower 70s. Light and variable winds... Becoming north around 10 mph this afternoon.

Tonight: Clear. Patchy fog after midnight. Lows in the mid 40s. Light and variable winds.

Sunday: Partly sunny. Highs in the lower 70s. Light and variable winds.

Sunday Night: Mostly clear. Patchy fog. Lows in the upper 40s. Light and variable winds.

Labor Day: Partly sunny. Highs in the mid 70s. South winds around 10 mph.

The sun finally broke out for a while yesterday afternoon but not for very long and not enough to send us into Torchville. Topped out at a reasonable 76.

Had just a little rain too--0.05" to be exact. Although we're in decent shape water-wise, I'd still like to see another soaker. We'll see come Monday/Tuesday. Until then, time to enjoy what we've got.

Hmmm, time for a NNE fall thread now that we're there....?
