nutmegfriar
Heading to Trickey Pond in Maine in the morning. Supposed to get some good storms after we get there and hopefully the humidity goes away. I'll fish in the rain (not storms) if I have to.

Hopefully I ply better. Hottest day of the summer IMO...high of 92F out in the field at the airport, though probably cooler at most treed homesteads, but the humidity is amazing with dews in the mid to upper 60s. Certainly felt like one of the hottest days. I had 89F at home when I got back at 3:30.
dendrite
Max 88.0 with a T of rain. It was hot today, but not close to the warmest here. 67/66 now...pretty comfortable out and in the house with the fans on.
MaineJayhawk
Pretty tolerable at 4k in the shade, even with a loaded pack. Down at the trailhead, though ...
Allenson
Yep definitely a hot one yesterday. 85 for a max at the homestead but it was in the low 90s down along the valley. One of my cousins got married yesterday in Fairlee (outside wedding). There wasn't one person whose face wasn't glistening and dripping after just a few minutes of sitting there, lol. Luckily some clouds rolled overhead (blow off from the t-storms over Killington yesterday afternoon) and kept the sun at bay in the later afternoon. We all developed a heavy thirst. Cloudy & muggy this morning. Hoping for some good soakahs today..

powderfreak
Overnight lows... BTV...76F MPV...67F 1V4....63F MVL....63F As usual, the sites in that 700-800ft range seemed to drop lowest, and they'll torch highest in the afternoon as far as the interior goes. But man BTV is in a world of its own. BTV west of Mansfield was a toasty with 76F while MVL east of Mansfield was 63F...the benefits of getting out of the CPV is better sleeping weather. MaineJayhawk
Cloudy, but it's 75/71. Dews have really shot up. I believe I hear the ocean calling my name. Hopefully the sun comes out ... that usually gets the talent out to the beaches.

powderfreak
Super jealous. You'd love the nights in the BTV area...usually 7-15F warmer than east of the Spine due to channeling winds in the valley...like last night everyone else is calm and they are gusting 20-25mph out of the south. dendrite
Clouds are finally breaking up. Getting steamy finally with an 80/72. The min of 62.7 was AN, but still comfy.

eekuasepinniW
Too fast moving to drop much rain...0.12" from cell #2. Hopefully we can manage better than 0.14". Yeah... 0.21" up here. Just a few lightning strikes and by good fortune one happened to be fairly close. Wind looked fairly impressive out of the south on the other side of the channel but was well sheltered IMBY. This storm was by far the best looking one of the season. Very black sky with a nice shelf cloud.
