This is the same cell that I was under that I said was close to severe. It wasn't quite severe here, but it might be now as it looks little stronger heading towards the north shore.

hopefully the line out there makes it-sometimes the best line is the line that plows into the most unstable air...the second line might have to encounter rain cooled air and we'll be down from the heating of the day....

have to say though, wow, fun to watch the radar light up like an xmas tree the past hour

you dont have to even look that far, they are firing over orange county already

atmosphere is still plenty unstable

Well the watch is until 9...and there is ample sunshine behind this initial cluster. could always see something else pop up ahead of the main line forming though and contaminate. In this environment, you might sneeze and cause a parcel to lift.
