i work outdoors in it all...and i haven't died yet...try working in the Mojave Desert in July-August...afternoon siestas are mandatory...we would sleep/go comatose under the trucks...the only shade around, while the temps averaged 117...

But it is a dry heat...lol .... yeah, you have seen some nasty stuff.

Perhaps you've never worked construction in 90+* heat. If I never saw a temp above 70 for the rest of my life that would be fine. Most people that say they love the heat scurry for the AC the minute the temp rises. I hate AC.

Well it seems you'll get your wish as you've stated that a move to AK is in the not too distant future. Enjoy !

I like to think I am very consistent. I always want below normal weather..regardless of the season. Although in the winter I take heavy snow over below normal if the choice has to be made.

Who's a warmista in winter? Seriously do you follow this forum? I'm one of the biggest Winter weenies around.

Violently disagree. Having done both (physical labor in heat and bitter cold) I would take the cold any day. Not 10F or lower, but anything above that is fine

55-70 is the ideal range for me. I've also worked outdoors in my younger days.

Some pretty serious flooding last night. Parts of Quincy without power after the area flooded and even the exit I use off I-93 closed due to flooding last night. Could be worse tonight.

Another KFS flop. Blizz said skiing would be over in March. J.Spin posted some pics of skiing there a week or so back. People are still able to ski in June.lol
