RIcoastalWX
Very impressive little storm going on right now. Lots of loud thunder - and vivid lightning. Worse appears to be JUST to my west - directly over Misquamicut. Should be some interesting stories from those that decided to stick around. Just 3 hours ago I was saying that today was probably going to end up being one of the top 3 beach days of year. How quickly things change! I remember back in October 2005 we had 6.20" inches on the last night and it just poured all night so I know what it's like. Hang in there! weathafella
Checking www.timeanddate.com .... We (ALB) gain 9 more minutes of sun in the evening and 2 more minutes in the morning. Then we head back toward the best season. Already on 6/22 we lose a minute in the AM, but takes awhile in the evening. I've never understood disliking the increased daylight. It seems counter to what we are programmed for as a species. I struggle with losing light and it is mitigated by the knowledge that snow is getting closer. But the long days to me are the best part of summer.
