Who the hell wears long sleeves and shorts? Fashion No-No.

Kevin's other hobby is men's fashion. He is up on the very latest fashion trends. He monitors the latest styles on the runways of Paris and Milan. He shouldn't be questioned. Wait a minute, is this the banter thread? It's tough to keep track.

Does it take you extra long to type on your old desktop PC..or does it take you that long to come up with these dumb rebuttals? It always takes 10 minutes for you to make a post once you start typing. Do you need to take a typing class..,upgrade your equipment to modern, or need help with grammar and spelling perhaps?

Looks like the bullk of this next round will be mainly to my west, ftw. Any thinking there will be clearing up this way?

1.49 down. More than I had expected. 52.9/52

I'm just multi-tasking. I often start a post then get distracted by running my ever growing and vast empire.

Never said it wouldn't be cool..as long as most rain stays NE of me..I'll be happy

Yea hopefully we avoid rains. FYI Guys under 6 foot should never wear long sleeves with shorts makes them look even shorter. We know for a fact you are under 6 feet as proven in Balt last year.

Yeah just bad luck. Weird. I mean I'm guessing around 0.75" or so. Not bad, but I could use an inch or two.

In all seriousness, as you probably know it's very rare we come close to maxing out for anything other than humidity. Sometimes in these setups with a strong primary to the west we do especially well, but almost by definition that setup can never stay all snow. I guess if you had like a 5 SD departing but still onshore HP you could cash before the changeover... Not sure it's ever happened though.

We're at 3.5" in the last 7 days. Big cat warning in effect for the elephant grass.

Hopefully we can get some decent rains Monday into Tuesday. In another QPF min...story since 10/29. Trying to get a good soaking for the plants.

It's been the overriding theme, hasn't it?

And the NAM busting in eastern zones and the overall vibe seemingly doing anything conceivably imaginable to verify on the less side of original model depictions - it's kind of like that annoying sense of failure before execution while watching a favorite professional sports team blow a playoff birth. The Celtics did that sh*t during game 2 of this series. They were ahead the whole game, but something ...eerie and equally ineffable just kept whispering internally that I was wasting time. Sure enough...stayed up late to watch a loss in OT that never should have happened, and ended up droopy eyed the next day at that office.

That sort of ...tempo for lack of better word wants to argue that we end up on the optimistic side of the current outlook over the next 5 days, for same damn inexplicability of the thing.

I think that is the difference between you and Kevin in this on-going debate and battle to break the 10 mile thick lead that separates your approaches to following the weather. He's tapped almost entirely into this more holistic method, where you are far too scientific for his taste.

+RA

57.0/56

.55" (since midnight)

I'm using the station in Dover for reference since I don't have a weather station at my friend's vacation place. Absolutely pouring buckets today in Barrington, maybe a bit heavier than closer to the coast, and very chilly for June. It looks as if the precip is starting to fill in from the south near ACK, so we should have continuous rains overnight. We're thinking of heading into town to catch a movie soon, but we'll see how the weather holds up.

NWS has 55/45 for Rindge Monday and 57/46 for Tuesday. Nice negative departures there to start the month. 12z ECM does show higher heights towards Day 10 as it keeps the ULL over Canada further northwest than the 0z run. Still doesn't look like a hot pattern, though, with blocking over much of Canada. Very muddled regime given the date on the calendar.
