These are facts. You mean in the USA which is 10% of the globe? I always find it more impressive when there is record cold during summer months and record warmth during winter months. If by much you mean hardly any. The PAC NW and SE US coast is below normal, but after today goes in the books, it'll only be a slight negative departure.
