If nothing else - the next week or so looks mainly dry and sunny on most guidance. Still looking potentially hot tue - fri next week followed by a trough 6/23. Any heat shouldn't be long lasting with the current pattern and would likely be in the form of a relatively brief surge of heat, but if the heat signal does verify and isn't replaced by any back door cold front or some other feature, the time period late next week might be when that happens, once the high pressure shifts east. I lived on 64 St and 12th Ave from birth in 1949 to November 1996...I had a weather station from 1987 to 1996 on my roof...Isn't Shallow Junior high on that corner...I played ball in that school yard many times...
