Today's wx was ideal..but ideally boring

Ain't that the truth...

Mostly Sunny... High of 81F up from a low of 43F. Currently 79/47 with RH in the 30-35% range. Lows in the 40s again tonight hopefully.

Saint Johnsbury, VT over by Lyndonville is currently 81/41 with a RH of 24%.... that's some nice dry air. They are probably getting some downsloping to dry out the lowest levels in the Upper Valley.

There's some really strong LL shear along that sea breeze front. The thing has some very strong low level rotation. LCLs probably too high for a tor with the relatively dry BL.

Cloud bases were pretty high when I left, but it's probably ingesting all that helicity like pac-man.

I love heat, but I have to say, today was spectacular. Went down to Southport Beach this afternoon drank some beers by the watering hole under the bridge, caught some bait fish with the kids and enjoyed the June sun. I would take today 365, I hope everyone enjoyed it.

A high of 78 and a touch humid IMO.... Not bad per se...but too warm for me since I really don't like summer wx.

Flies are bad here now..maybe because of the damp ground etc. They all hatched.
