Doldrums of weather heading into June

Meh on everything. You guys are something else. Weenie gonna ween I guess.

Scooter nobody is weening, i think everyone agrees normal to slightly above normal weather on the way, with plenty of sun this weekend and next week, what else could we ask for.

I see nobody calling for a torch, at all. That comes later in June.

lol go easy on the torch talk turns into you being a torch-monger

Like you said..looks June like. I'll be in NJ this weekend where LL would love to be and experience the warmth. Hopefully Sunday doesn't suck here. Saturday looks ok though.

You know what will happen. Sunday will clear out and weenies will claim victory. Tuesday will be high 80s if winds stay SW and the same thing will happen. I think they get confused with talking about possibilities vs an actual forecast.

Who cares as long as it is nice like summer can be. The only input which said the beginning of June would be an out and out torch has not been mentioned by KFS.

FWIW, I see a similar pattern later in June. My guess is once again big heat is west, and while it may be warmer than normal perhaps....I don't see a torch per se.

0z ECM did show heat starting to build out by Day 9/10 but still some signs of troughing towards the Maritimes.

Today is my last day in New England before starting the fellowship. Packing my bags for the new job.

Should be a great weekend for you, enjoy. How does Monday look? probably head to Misq after the crowds of Sunday leave. Very happy to have half Mon all day Tues off in the summer when the touristas are working.

Yes, average weather in June is beautiful weather. The pattern looks nice no doubt about it but it certainly doesn't look torch-like by any means.

Torch this time of year is 90s for BDL.

Wow 5 days? nice. I don't have any time off until July.

We have this weird vacation policy where sick days, personal days, holidays..etc are all bundled up and we can use that. So I have a ton of time, technically. We also can cash in 5 days that we didn't use at the end of the year which is nice. But, I will have to save some days since Lil Scoot is on the way.

Oh that's not bad... nice to have extra time around.

Great timing for the incoming torch.

Happens all winter, why not in the summer?

It's the same as during a 6-12 snowfall...you, Will, or Ryan mentioning some minute detail that may let some localized areas get to 12-14" and all the sudden it's interpreted as a widespread 12-24" snowstorm. ;)

And plus, what fun would talking about the weather and meteorology be if you couldn't spin it? It's like listening to used car salesmen.

June 30th -July 18th off, not going anywhere out of CT RI and loving it. Week camping in Lebanon, week in Weekapaug.

Nice!! Hopefully some hydro issues and szygys to enjoy on vaca.

I'm going to Maine July 8-15 for a week which I'm stoked about... really want a nice nocturnal MCS up there though.

Probably will do a long weekend on the Cape but don't have much $$$ floating around after buying the house lol.

It's in our blood not to spin. I would be fired..lol. However, sometimes when you get it wrong and have to explain...a little spin is ok. :)
