moneypitmike
I'm still seeing a high 'around 80' in the forecast for Monday and Tuesday. We'll see if that busts or not. Meanwhile, a mere .6* remain of increasing sun angle and 6 more additional minutes of daylight until we can start the slide back to autumn. If nothing else, we know the fall will break the back of this unbearable heat.
snowman21
lol I left out igloos, ponytails, and eskimos but West Chesterfield did get a shout out. Where's the torch???? I'm not complaining. Half of June will be gone without any blazing heat. Even the subway stations are still tolerable.

We were all talking about the torch..Even Scooter was calling for 3 days of it..Still a warmer than normal pattern..that looks like it waits until last 2 weeks of June to really torch. Don S is all over that time period. That should push montlies up to +2 or +3 at least..even in BOS

Go back in the thunderstorm thread and I even mentioned to HM that I think the heat was going to be pinched off after a couple of warm days possible..even a week ago. I said maybe when winds go S-SW we could warm up more significantly. Probably Tuesday.

Yeah it looked like a warmer than normal pattern was possible (no one besides Kevin and his ilk were talking torch) and that has been moderated quite a bit. Looks like typical June weather.
