Doldrums of weather heading into June

I'm still seeing a high 'around 80' in the forecast for Monday and Tuesday. We'll see if that busts or not.

Meanwhile, a mere .6* remain of increasing sun angle and 6 more additional minutes of daylight until we can start the slide back to autumn. If nothing else, we know the fall will break the back of this unbearable heat. ;)

Looks like AOA normal to me but I def don't see the torch you were talking about. Low 80s look about it.

We were all talking about the torch..Even Scooter was calling for 3 days of it..Still a warmer than normal pattern..that looks like it waits until last 2 weeks of June to really torch. Don S is all over that time period. That should push montlies up to +2 or +3 at least..even in BOS

Climo is 80 at BDL by the weekend. Torch fail. Looks like a June pattern.

What? There must be about 20 posts talking about the torch being not that big of a deal. Go back in the thunderstorm thread and I even mentioned to HM that I think the heat was going to be pinched off after a couple of warm days possible..even a week ago. I said maybe when winds go S-SW we could warm up more significantly. Probably Tuesday.

Highly doubt +3. Maybe not even +2.

Yeah it looked like a warmer than normal pattern was possible (no one besides Kevin and his ilk were talking torch) and that has been moderated quite a bit. Looks like typical June weather.
