Doldrums of weather heading into June

CoastalWx

So far, I see no real torch for the BOS area, aside from a day or two that might hit 80 next week. Should be pleasant with a seabreeze for the most part.

Seems like everyone is getting the weather they want this week and possibly next. Cooler east warmer west, could be some truly epic weather along the coast from Friday into at least the middle of next week, plenty of sun and refreshing winds of the water.

Win win for everyone.

As long as you don't like 88-95 and high dews, it's a win. That will come eventually.

80 and sunny works just fine for me 365, but of course the heat is wonderful, all about the transition, and I try to make the most of anything mother nature throws my way, glass half full kinda guy.

I agree...I just don't function well in the heat. I worked outdoors in it for too long when I was younger.

However, it doesn't bias any of my thoughts. I call the pattern as I see it.

Dews will be in the low-mid 60's..humid, but not oppressive

Meh. It will be the most boring pattern potentially. Maybe some more rains as the front washes out near us and to the south later in the week. Maybe one day has the winds go south for the torch, but overall...NBD.

Just mellow, mild weather. No torch, no dought, no forest fires. Before you know it we'll be into July with no death torch and only about 45-60 days left with true heat wave potential. Just an average summer followed by a kick azz Winter. Perfect.

See when you downplay things it just gives long hair ammo to continue his foolish no summer talk. It is an above normal pattern we are entering no doubt. Any amount of downplaying it just incites the long haireds

Is NOAA lying when there graphs show that 2012 is the warmest year EVER to date for Massachusetts?

I've yet to hit 70 this month. There is no drought. The wire to wire torch you've been trumpeting about is totally MIA. I missed the 30's this AM by 2 degrees. You should listen to Scooter. There is no high heat in our forseeable future. Just a day or two that might hit 80. Yawn. I really wonder what happened to you to have such a long hair hang up. I stick to the theory that you were in love with some Betty that only had eyes for some cool dude with long hair. I can picture you watching her leave the High School parking lot in his car. Sad.

Well it will probably be mild to warm inland no doubt, just not really that torchy imo.

lol you two are something else going back and forth.

Plus you both take the same data and interpret it completely different...but both of you are saying the same thing. If you hit 80F or higher for a couple days in the forests of the East Slope, that's probably near 90F at BDL for a couple days. Above normal temps on the East Slope and everywhere else, yes, but could one argue that 80F is not all that bad as far as summer heat goes, yes. Win, win for both spinsters.
