CoastalWx
What temperature threshold are we using to categorize a "torch" anyway? Well Kevin and company seem to think high 80s from Sunday-Thursday which is stretching the term torch anyways..lol. Normal for BDL will be 80 -81 next week. It just looks like a lot of onshore flow. Probably still warm over the interior...but thicknesses are deceiving in something like this. We'll see what the euro ensembles do. There are some details to work out. In the other thread about TSTMS..I was talking to HM about this. It's usually a mild to warm pattern for the interior..but when you have a heat dome out west, it usually means high pressure to our east.

Mr Torchey
Incredibly dark sky to the east as a kernel passes by about ten miles in that direction, some of the best skies I have seen in quite a long time the last two days, towering cnb's backdropped by cobalt blue. Atmophere is crystal clean.

moneypitmike
Sun just came out. Too bad I was out cutting trees all day, the last four of which were in steady moderate rain with a high temp of 59.4. Delightful. Heavy, heavy trees taken down. Heavy heavy stumps being dropped in the woods. Heavy heavy grass seed going down in a few days. 57.6/

CoastalWx
So far, I see no real torch for the BOS area, aside from a day or two that might hit 80 next week. Should be pleasant with a seabreeze for the most part.
