powderfreak
June 1st in Norway before this latest storm rolled in. I'm hoping for some good fresh accumulation by tomorrow morning. This was 4,000ft and today we found 25 foot snow depths on the side of the road at 5000ft instead of 10-12 feet shown here.

CoastalWx
Am seeing signs that warmth is delayed this weekend as blocking does not want to give up, however it is possible to have 1-2 hot days early next week. Afterwards, a semi cool down is possible as heat dome shifts west again.

CoastalWx
Wed looks better than Mon-Tues..60's sun/clouds by Wed..not that bad All models do have clouds and some showers for you. I think you struggle for 60...maybe 60 or 61 if you get some sun, but most of the day I think is probably high 50s for you. The coldest air aloft actually moves in. Damage In Tolland
By next weekend summer sets in for good..big heat building by late next weekend on all models and ensembles. Those clamoring for cool and misery..enjoy the early/middle part of this week.. after that it's over. Can't wait till this period is over this week. If we're lucky we have a nice weekend next weekend..with just some popup storms on Saturday as warm air floods in

If we're lucky we have a nice weekend next weekend..with just some popup storms on Saturday as warm air floods in I could see a hot day or two next week, but then it cools a bit closer to normal during the week. Either way, it's a warmer pattern than this week for sure. It's still not a pattern for prolonged heat quite yet.

CoastalWx
What do you think for next weekend? particularly Saturday The 9th? It better be nice in NJ for the wedding I'll be at..lol. There could be some sct shwrs or tstms on Saturday, but it will probably be seasonal I think...maybe a tick or two below on highs. That upper level low will be nearby so it's not clear cut, but from your area on west..it looks ok I think. If we can avoid a lot of clouds or showers...it looks awesome. ski MRG
Looks like they're going to have to push for the summit today or tomorrow. 40mph winds with temps between -15 and -20 are on the way and that'll make a tough job even tougher. CoastalWx
70's with NW flow inland. -Nao isn't bad in summer I'll go on record that the Euro is wrong again and next week ends up near normal. Don S has 2nd half of June torching with some monster hot analog yrs. Gibbs says retorch somewhere around June12-14 Its going to feel nice getting back to normal for a change, even if its short lived. okx going forward is saying la crema tom sunny 81 fr mostly sunny 74 sun mostly sunny 73 mon mostly sunny 75 Cant Wait! Seems like overkill to me doubt that verifies. Good luck Kevin may still in the 50s on Monday. 48 or 49 for a high in ORH? LOL. How much you wanna bet on that ? It was tongue and cheek, but ORH would stuggle past 50 if the GFS and Euro are right. Kevin, I'm pretty confident on temps below 60 for you on Monday. LOL.
